STAGE 1 TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM
The YWCA’s Stage 1 Transitional Housing Program is designed to provide safe and affordable housing for single women for one to three years depending on the individualized needs of the participant. The participants in the program will work with the Transitional Housing Support Worker on housing, financial and self-identified goals to ensure that the participant is able to exit the program into successful independent housing. This is done by meeting with the participants on a regular basis to go over and establish short and long-term goals and from there an action plan is formulated along with the participant. This program offers life skills programming, support, case planning, goal setting, advocacy and referrals to counseling with outside agencies and employment agencies.
