Events

The YWCA Niagara Region hosts several events every year to create awareness about homelessness and poverty and raise money to support the many programs and services that we offer to help women and their families move from a life of constant transition to one of financial stability and permanent housing.

The Power of being a Girl Conference is an annual event that gathers hundreds of Grade 10 girls across Niagara for a day of empowerment, learning and leadership.

Coldest Night of the Year is an annual fundraiser walk-a-ton in support of our West Niagara Affordable Housing program hosted every February.

leadership summit

Niagara Leadership Summit for Women is a full-day conference focused on women’s leadership; evaluating, discussing, and promoting women’s leadership in Niagara. This event is hosted every October.

YWCA Niagara Region’s Food Drive is an event that will bring the amazing people of the Niagara region community together to help support the YWCA in feeding 120+ people 3 meals a day, each day. This event is hosted in August.

Third Party Events

We also welcome and appreciate community members hosting their own fundraising events and donating proceeds to the YWCA. We consider these third party events.
